Vinyl Wrap / Profiled Doors
Profiled doors have had a huge resurgence in recent years, driven by trends that are looking at classic styling afresh with either a modern or country twist. Vinyl wrap (also known as Thermolaminated Doors) provides a hardy and moisture resistant surface that will last for many years.
EZIKIT are the experts when it comes to Vinyl Wrap as we manufacture our doors in-house with the only membrane press in the state. Supported by our quality systems, this ensures you will get a consistent and beautifully finished door.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an ezikit kitchen cost?
We find the average kitchen with standard finishes is between $6,000-10,000. Small kitchens could be as little as $3,000-5,000 and very large kitchen from $10,000-20,000. Premium finishes like engineered stone benchtops could add $3,000-6,000 to the average kitchen.
What can I purchase off the shelf?
EZIKIT are a custom build company, so we do not have cupboards sitting on the shelf and likewise there is no price list. Everything is custom designed, costed and then made for your project. If you only need doors or benchtops to reface your kitchen, we can assist with that also, however you should speak to your builder or installer first to prepare a list and sketches so that we can provide you with a quote.
Why is the price so good? What am I missing out on?
It isn’t uncommon to save 30-50% on a kitchen with EZIKIT, but there is nothing inferior to what you may get from other suppliers. As we manufacture in house with strict quality processes and checks, you will find our quality is actually better than most.
You benefit from our investment in state of the art machinery and systems, keeping us efficient and your costs as low as possible. In addition we have great buying power due to the amount of kitchens we produce each week.
Of course you can also play a part in your savings by providing initial measurements and booking a showroom consultation. It all adds up to significant savings so you get more for your money.
CAN I REFACE MY EXISTING KITCHEN?
Absolutely – many customers get custom made fronts, panels & benchtops made by EZIKIT so they can reface their existing kitchen. It can save thousands potentially by doing this type of refresh as long as the existing cabinets are in good condition and compatible with modern hinges and hardware.
It is important to note that this really is just a refresh – your kitchen layout stays the same with few options to improve the functionality, accessibility and/or appliance types. EZIKIT can provide advice on materials, but you would need to provide all sizes and drilling details for us to provide a quotation and subsequently manufacture your panels and/or benchtops.
In some cases it is better to start afresh, enabling better access to corners and more drawer storage. You can speak to one of our designers and provide photos of the existing to find out if refacing is an option.
How does pricing compare to Hardware Store Flat Packs?
This is a common question, as many believe mass produced flat packs from hardware stores are going to be their cheapest and fastest option.
In fact, when factoring in all components (cabinets, doors, drawer hardware, hinges, handles, and benchtops), custom-made options are often very competitively priced and can be even more cost effective by eliminating wasteful infill cupboards and panels. Benefit also from the convenient options of preassembly and getting just what you want, rather than selecting from a limited range.
At EZIKIT, you get higher quality materials, superior hardware, and a design tailored to your space.
Get in touch so we can provide you with a cost comparison.
WHAT WARRANTY DO YOU OFFER ON YOUR PRODUCTS?
We have a 7 year warranty on all products manufactured by EZIKIT. Warranties on appliances and fittings will reflect the warranties provided by those appliance and hardware suppliers and vary from 2-3 years on appliances through to a lifetime warranty for some items to the original owner. For goods outside of those warranty periods, we would still welcome contact as we will gladly help in any way we can.
WHERE IS THE SHOWROOM & FACTORY LOCATED?
You will find our showroom at 309 Liverpool Street, Hobart open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday’s from 10am to 2pm. Bookings are required to speak with a designer, but you are welcome to drop in for a look any time.
Our factory is at 9 Ascot Drive, Huntingfield. Visits to the factory are by booking only for collection or support to ensure someone will be available to assist.
How customised and is it only kitchens?
Custom heights, widths and configurations are no problem, and you don’t pay more as a result. How it is drawn is what is made as our 3D design software connects to our machinery.
Kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, bathroom cabinets, office fitouts, custom furniture… It is all possible with EZIKIT.
I’m not sure about DIY, can EZIKIT still help me?
After 18 years, most of our new enquiries come from referrals and many are not planning a DIY project. A very popular option is for us to provide your cabinets preassembled & delivered in home to simplify the DIY process or in readiness for your builder or installer.
How do I go about getting a design together?
You are welcome to visit our showroom any time and to chat to our team, but when you are ready to explore your space we’d recommend making a booking for a design consultation. Bring along your measurements, sketches, ideas and scrapbook. The end result will be a 3D design and quotation with all the options you would like considered.
Some people prefer to email their house plans and ideas to us, or use our online design tool. That is no problem either – check out our ‘Resources’ page to make sure you are supplying the right information for us to provide a quote.
In-home consultations can also be arranged with a nominal ‘home visit’ fee depending on your location. Charging for in-home visits helps us keep our project price as low as possible. Please note that in-home consultations are not available for refacing or benchtops only. Speak to us if you are after advice on your options for refacing.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM DESIGNS AND SIZES?
Yes – that is why people choose EZIKIT! Everything is made to measure for your home, so there is no extra work or cost from our point of view for you to have something designed and made to fit your space without compromising the design.
Sizing to match existing cabinets? EZI!
Higher than standard benchtops? EZI!
Custom depth pantry units? EZI!
DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY AND WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?
We run daily deliveries in the south of the state with our own trucks, covering Hobart and surrounding suburbs. For remote deliveries, including the north of the state, we engage a freight company and customers make arrangements to collect from their nearest depot. Remote deliveries can only be supplied as flat packs for logistical reasons.
Collection is possible from our factory, and we have had some people hire a rental truck for a day to arrange their own remote delivery of a fully assembled kitchen.
We do not provide quotes for delivery outside of Tasmania except where there may be special circumstances. For remote deliveries, we are well aware that we are not able to provide the same level of backup and installation support service that we can for our local customers.
WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR ORDERS?
This can vary a little throughout the year, but we generally work on around 8 weeks from the time of order to the supply of a kitchen. This can vary depending on material selections, assembly requirements, delivery schedules, and the time of the year. For planning purposes, it is a good idea to also allow for a 2-4 week design phase to ensure your space is well thought out and meets your requirements.
WHAT BENEFITS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TRADE CUSTOMERS?
We have many joiners and builders who deal with EZIKIT for the supply of locally made and locally supported products. Trade customers can benefit from our skilled designers and the ability to book their customers in to speak with one of our team in one of Hobart’s best showrooms. If you would like to find out more about being an EZIKIT Trade Partner, we welcome you to make contact with our team, who will connect you with management to outline how we can work together for mutual benefit.
